If you're looking for an original gift that won't end up forgotten in a drawer, or a piece that adds character to a desk, bookcase, or corner of your home, handmade resin statues are one of the most interesting interior design trends right now. At Taraflo, we produce every piece by hand in Italy, with an attention to detail that comes from combining precision 3D printing with manual finishing.
Here's a quick guide to the collections and pieces our customers love most, with direct links to view them up close.
1. Greek Mythology: heroes and gods for lovers of classical art
Greek mythology remains an evergreen choice for anyone looking for an elegant yet never-boring gift. Our Greek Mythology and Heroes collection features dozens of subjects, from the gods of Olympus to the heroes of the great legends. Among the most requested pieces is the Theseus and the Minotaur Sculpture, available in five sizes from 10 to 30 cm: a symbol of courage, perfect both as a gift and as an artistic piece for a bookcase or study.
2. Humorous aliens: the right gift for fans of geek humor
For a lighter, more pop-inspired gift, our alien-themed desk figurines are proving very popular: from the Alien with Cigar to the Alien with Beer and the Alien with Book, each piece tells a small, humorous story designed for office desks, gaming setups, or collectors' shelves. They're among the store's best-selling items precisely because they combine humor, quality detailing, and a compact format (from 10 cm) that fits into any space.
3. Gothic & Dark Fantasy: for those who love more intense atmospheres
If your taste is darker, the Gothic & Dark Fantasy collection features gargoyles, creatures, and sculptures with gloomy atmospheres, designed for anyone who wants a corner of their home with a strong identity — or a themed gift for fans of fantasy and role-playing games.
4. A personalized gift: dogs and cats as you've never seen them before
For anyone looking for something more personal, the Dogs – Figurines and Sculptures and Cats – Figurines and Sculptures collections feature dozens of breeds and poses, from bulldogs to Sphynxes, often chosen as gifts for someone who has just adopted a puppy or wants a sweet keepsake of their four-legged friend.
5. Golden statues: when the gift needs to make an impression
For the most important occasions, the Gold Collection — Golden Statues features metallic finishes that create an immediate, striking effect, perfect for a gift that needs to impress at first sight.
