Not just Christmas and Halloween: there are many other occasions throughout the year when a handmade resin statue makes a more original gift than usual. Here are some ideas divided by occasion.
Valentine’s Day: the classic beauty of Venus
For a romantic but unexpected gift, our Venus statues are among the most popular choices for Valentine’s Day. The Bust of the Goddess Venus with Butterfly combines elegance and symbolism (the butterfly as a metaphor for the transformation brought about by love), while Venus “The Silence of Aphrodite” has a more minimalist and understated tone. For those who love pure classical art, there is also the marble-effect Venus de Milo.
Mother’s Day: elegance and balance
For Mother’s Day, we often look for a gift that conveys thoughtfulness without being predictable. A compact Venus statue (10–15 cm) is a popular choice for anyone who likes keeping an elegant object on their bedside table or in the living room; alternatively, for a calmer and more delicate feel, pieces from the Zen Decor and Meditation collection — explored in greater depth in our guide Zen Statues and Decorations — convey calm and thoughtfulness without being a banal gift.
Graduation: a gift that celebrates the achievement
For a graduation, especially in the humanities or law, the Golden Winged Athena Statue — goddess of wisdom, often chosen specifically as a graduation gift — is an elegant symbol to keep on a first professional desk. Alternatively, a piece from the Greek Mythology and Heroes collection lets you choose a more personal subject connected to the graduate’s interests.
Birthdays and anniversaries: when originality matters
For a birthday or anniversary, the advantage of more playful figurines — such as those from the Animals with Personality collection, explored in the guide Original Desk Figurines — is that they let you choose a piece that truly reflects the person’s character, not just the occasion.
